This file was contributed and copyrighted by: Carolyn Golowka ==================================================================== May 2003 Deed of Attestation of Alexander Henderson Mount Pleasant Monroe County State of Alabama Oct 4th, 1844 Know all men by these presents that I Alexander Henderson, of the state and county of the aforesaid, having been duly appointed and qualified as a Justice of the Peace, as the statutes of the laws of the State of Alabama requires, while officiating in that capacity, I legally joined together with Holy bonds of matrimony on the first day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventeen, Thomas H. Boyles, formerly of North Carolina, and Sarah Adcock, formerly of Georgia, both since deceased, whose acknowledge five were Elizabeth Evans, widow of Michael Evans formerly Elizabeth Boyles, Joel Boyles, Lucinda Guild wife of Josiah Guild formerly Lucinda Boyles, James H. Boyles, and Mary W. Holley wife of Edwin Holley formerly Mary W. Boyles recognized by the said Thomas H. Boyles as the legal Heirs of his body, they being all the children of the said Thomas H. Boyles now alive. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hands and seal after being duly sworn to the truth of the above statement this fourth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty four.
