Estate of On the application of Robert Pugh - It is ordered that he be and is hereby appointed adm. on the estate of John Hawkins dec'd. and that he give bond in the sum of $20,000 ~ Ordered that the bond this day be filed by Robert Pugh as adm aforesaid in the sum of twenty thousand dollars with Geo W. Andrews, Joshua Gray, T.R. Cuthen & Enoch Riley as -------- be & the same is hereby approved and that Letters issue accordingly ~ Ordered that Jas Henderson, W.C. Neville(?) & I.M.(?) Henderson be and they are hereby appointed appraisers of the estate of John Hawkins dec'd. On the application of Robert Pugh adm on the estate of John Hawkins dec'd. Henderson & David Salter be & they are hereby appointed commissioners to set apart to Elizabeth Hawkins the widow of said dec'd one fifth of the personal property of said estate consisting of fourteen negros &---- and to make an equal fair & impartial distribution of the remainder among the heirs of said estate to wit: Wm Hawkins, Nancy wife of Orin Brantley, Melinda wife of Thomas Self, Emily Hawkins, Permelia E. wife of Robert Pugh, John Hawkins, Thomas Hawkins, Bartlett Hawkins, Pinckney Hawkins & Floyd Hawkins making ten equal shares and make a return of their proceedings (under oath) on or before the next Regular Term of this Court
