This file was contributed and copyrighted by: Carolyn Golowka ==================================================================== May 2003 Filed February 5, 1834 Monroe County, Alabama Know all men by these presents that I Reuben Adcock, of the County of Monroe and the State of Alabama, in consideration of the sum of five hundred and seventy seven dollars and ninety cents, to me in hand paid by Alexander Henderson, of the same County and State, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have remised, released, and forever quit claims to and by these present, do remise, release, and forever quit claims unto the said Alexander Henderson, his heirs and assigns, all his estate, right title, interest claim, and demand in and to the North East subdivision of Fraction of section twenty five (25), Township 5 (5), and Range 3 East, on the east side of the Alabama River. Containing ninety two (92) acres, being the same tract of lands which the said Reuben Adcock & Alexander Henderson jointly purchased at the land office at St Stephens on the fifth day of February, eighteen hundred and thirty one. To have and to hold the aforesaid premises with all the privileges and opportunity to the same belonging unto the said Alexander Henderson, his heirs, so that I the said Reuben Adcock, nor my heirs, nor any person or persons, claiming under me on them, shall at anytime hereafter by any way or means have claim or demand any right or title to the aforesaid premises or any part or parcel thereof. In testimony whereof I, the said reuben Adcock have hereunto set my hand and seal this Twenty Sixth day of February, in the year of our Lord, One Thousand Eight Hundred and Thirty Four.
