   In consideration of the written premise  and also in consideration of One  
Dollar to me paid by Cullen Mims,I do hereby assign, transfer, and release to 
the said Cullen Mims all my rights,title or claims of power in and to the 
within named premises of laird.Witness my hand and Seal this the 8th day of 
September,One thousand Eight hundred and thirty eight.

   Personally came before Mr. William Holloway,J.P. and acting Justice of the 
Peace in and for said county Ansil Sawyer & Elizabeth Sawyer his wife 
acknowledge that they Executed the within and above deed for the purposes
contained therein and the said Elizabeth Sawyer by me personally examined 
separate from her said husband acknowledge that the above release was freely
voluntered and without fear or complusion of her husband.Witness my hand and 
seal this the 8th day of September One thousand Eight hundred and thirty eight.
