    To all persons whom this may concern,Greetings.
We certify that the bearer hereof Elder Garrett Longmire is legally ordained
as a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to it's Holy Scriptures
and the rules of the regular Baptist Churches taken from the Sacred Oracles.

    This Ordination took place at Indian Springs Church on the 12th day of May
One thousand Eight hundred thirty eight by and with the  consent of the church 
at the place above mentioned.

Additional Comments:
This record was found in one of the Deed books in the courthouse in 
Monroeville,mixed in with the deeds.
