Mr. Kearley lived near Peterman and on returning to his work, attempted to mount one of the cars while in motion, lost his footing, and fell beneath the wheels. His body was horribly mangled. He leaves a wife and two or three children. Coronor John I. Watson was summoned to view the remains and investigate the unfortunate case, reports that while there was no eye witness to the tragedy, the attendant circumstances all go to show that the killing was purely accidental.
