This is the second detachment of Major Hasting's Colony. The first, it will be remembered, was wrecked some weeks ago, on the coast of Cuba, in the Schooner Neptune. Both these colonies have been made up chiefly in Alabama. We are not acquainted with the colonist who accompany Major Hastings, but are informed that they are substantial, respectable citizens of Alabama and the adjacent states. The following is a list of the passengers for Para by the steamer Margaret, which cleared yesterday: Maj. L.H. Hastings O. F. Chaffit Capt. W. Mathews S. C.
