Funeral services were conducted from the Poplar Springs Church Wednesday afternoon. Internment was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Colbert was a native of Uriah and had lived in that community up to two months ago when she moved to Atmore. She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church. Survivors beside the husband Owen Colbert of Atmore, two daughters: Mrs. Tensie Mae Kircharr and Mrs. Lillie Mae Kelley, both of Atmore, three sons: Owen Colbert and David Colbert of Uriah and John Henry Colbert of Atmore. A sister Mrs Louise Woods of Cottage Hill Fl. and brother Murford Colbert of Texas. Johnsons funeral home of Monroeville was in charge of funeral arrangements.
