Farish for the killing of Mr. D.K. McMurphy a few weeks ago, took place at Buena Vista last week before Justice Edward Jones with whom Justice J.B. Harper of Beatrice was associated. The prosecution was represented by Gen R.C. Jones of Camden and the defense by B.M. Miller Esq of Camden and Mr. McCorvey & Hare of Monroeville. We are informed that a clear case of self-defense was made out. The defendant discharged and that all parties express themselves as being entirely satisfied with the results of the trial.
