J. E. Fore, died at her home near McWilliams on the 5th day of Jan., 1910, in the 79th year of her age. In 1860 she was united in marriage to J. E. Fore who served his country as a soldier in the civil war. She was the mother of two sons, J. H. and W. W. Fore and three daughters, Mrs. Stacy, Mrs. Hines and Miss Frankie Fore. Early in life she joined the Methodist church and remained a consistent member of that church until her marriage, when she united with the Baptist at Bear creek and was Baptized by old Bro. Eddins. The writer was her pastor for ten years, and was often at the Fore home, where he saw much of the deceased. She possessed those quiet womanly qualities which made her queen of that home. She loved her church and its services, and enjoyed being present when opportunity permitted. She always had a word of cheer for her pastor, and always welcomed him to her home. The integrity of her children and their high moral character are indexes to the worth of that mother, who has laid down the weapon of this earthly struggle to engage in more delightful employment. She will be among those who come up out of great tribulation, and wash their robes in the blood of the lamb. A personal friend has gone home and personal friends are mad sad. She is not dead but sleepeth. Comfort one another with these thoughts, and may the God of all grace keep you by his grace is the prayer of Your former pastor, W. N. HUCKABEE
