From the intersection of Central St. with AL 21, go south on AL 21 for a distance of 0.8 miles to West Ave. Turn right and go 0.3 miles to a dirt road on the left that runs between two brick houses. Turn left onto the dirt road and follow it, as it winds around, for a distance of 0.3 miles. The cemetery is on the right. Note: This cemetery was recently purchased by Frisco City with donations from the public. It has been fenced and is maintained by the city and known as the Hendrix Family Memorial Cemetery. There is a lot of home building going on in the area and this dirt road may soon be paved, or at least, improved. If you get lost, stop and ask someone in the area. Note: Several of the gravestones are shown in two photos; before and after. The "before" photos were taken in 2002, while the "after" photos were taken in 2003, after the City of Frisco City took responsibility for the cemetery and repaired the gravestones. Both are shown in some cases so that the researcher is able see all of the information available. It is considered that there may be other unfound graves at the site. This cemetery was "refound" and surveyed by Ken Johnson in 2001. At the time it was heavily overgrown with brush and weeds. Ken and his son, Nathan, undertook to clean it up and do the survey. It was obvious to him that the cemetery had been heavily vandalized.
