The following record had no date, but was before 1818: Ordered that letter of Administration be granted John Newman on the Estate of Thomas Newman Decd, and that he give bond and security on the sum of Eighteen Thousand dollars ~ And that Peter Randon, and Alver Newman (probably should have been Alger) be approved of as Securties~ Ordered also that Wm Vaughn, John Davis, Paul McDonald & John Fryar and Wm Boothe be appointed appraisers of said Estate.
