Creek Agency Oct 13th 1827

Personally appeard before me John Crow-
ell Indian Agent a respectable half
breed Creek Indian Samuel Manack
who deposeth that he was personally
acquainted with Jack Ward of said
Nation in his lifetime and with his
family up to the time of his death and
that he knows that said Jack Ward
died at his residence on a certain tract
of land called Wards Reserve which is
now a part of Montgomery County
Alabama, which was granted to the
said Ward under an act of Congrefs
that Mahaja Ward is the only wife of
the said Jack Ward, and that John Ward 
and Susan Ward are the only children
now living of the said Jack Ward
that the deponent has known both the
said John & Susan since the time of
their Infancy, and is well acquainted
with them to the present time.

Additional Comments:
Jack Ward's wife was Nahoga Moniac.  The Samuel (Moniac) Manack giving this 
deposition is her brother.
