The ladies are to be congratulated; for no matter whether in the courtroom, clothed with judicial ermine, or before a large class in Sunday School, giving an exegesis of the current lesson, on the street or in the home, Armstead Brown illustrates daily the highest and noblest elements of the best and bravest Confederate soldier. He is a Talbot county boy of whom all the people are proud. He will be greeted by a large crowd and given a hearty welcome by all the people. Judge Brown will be introduced by Col. A. Jones Perryman, Jr., one of the county’s brightest young men and an orator of no ordinary attainments.
