Montgomery Advertizer, March 1, 2002
     Mrs. Annie L. Armstrong, a resident of Montgomery, AL expired Tuesday, 
February 25, 2002.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2002 
at 11:00 a.m. from Oak Street A.M.E. Zion Church with Reverend J.J. Fountain 
officiating.  Interment will follow in Golden Gate Cemetery with Lee's Funeral 
Home directing.  Mrs. Armstrong was preceded in death by her husband, Tommie 
Armstrong.  She is survived by her loving and devoted children, Dr. Willie C. 
(Price Prince), of Baton Rouge, LA; Myrtis (William) Winston, Melvin 
Armstrong, Alvin Armstrong, Annie Pearl (Eugene) Draper, Mildred(Albert) 
Franklin, Gus Armstrong, Betty Armstrong, Felix Armstrong, and Inez Perkins, 
all of Montgomery, AL, and Queen E. Jenkins of Castleberry, AL; a devoted 
daughter -in-law, Theresa M. Armstrong of Montgomery, Al; four aunts,Alice 
Baker, Katie Gamble and Annie Pat McCree all of Montgomery, AL, and Mildred 
Jones of Detroit, MI; one nephew, Arthur (Cathy) Stevenson of Louisville, KY; 
19 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
