Guice, w/o Charles David Bayne "Mrs. Mary Townsend Bayne, 78, widow of the late Charles David Bayne, died at her home, 2 Cramer Avenue, Monday afternoon after a lingering illness. Surviving are: one daughter, Maude R. Bayne: three sons, Louis A. Bayne, Paul M. Bayne, and Robert L. Bayne, all of Montgomery: four sisters, Mrs. J.L. Dozier and Mrs. J.T. Boswell, of Troy, Mrs. Beverly Amos of Dothan, and Mrs. D.O. Evans, of Montgomery: three brothers, S.A. Townsend, of Birmingham, Bibb Townsend, Hamlin Texas: three grandchildren, Max and Paul Bayne, of Montgomery, and S. Jeff Bayne, of Birmingham. Mrs. Bayne was a member of the First Baptist Church and lived in Montgomery during the past 59 years, coming here from Pine Level when she was married. Funeral will be held from her home today at 4 p.m. Diffly in charge. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery."
