S. Callahan, Montgomery. Montgomery, Ala., January 25. -- A good woman died here today after a long and painful illness. She was Mrs. J. S. Callahan, the wife of the accommodating and faithful watchman at the state house for four years. Before marriage she was Miss Alreda May Ester and was born in Cumberland, Md., forty-one years ago. Her grandfather was a judge of the supreme court in Pennsylvania and her father obtained distinction in the late war.
