January 13, 1881:

Mrs. Jennie B. SITTON died at the Exchange Hotel, Talladega, on last Thursday 
night. She leaves a husband, two children and a large circle of friends to 
mourn her death. Her remains were carried to Dalton for interment.

Died, in the southern part of Walker County, Mrs. Joicy CHILTON, on the 29th 
of December, of consumption.
