Girl Burned to Death

Montgomery, Ala., Feb. 12 – Gussie Sanders, the 5-year-old daughter of Mr. and 
Mrs. J.B. Sanders of Mount Pinson, was burned to death at that place yesterday 
afternoon.  The little girl was playing in the back yard where a fire was 
burning under a big pot.  She went too close to the flames and her clothing 
caught fire.  Her screams brought help but she was fatally burned by the time 
those who heard her had arrived.
