Stringer John Ashley Stringer, 45, of 708 Madison Avenue, died at a local infirmary yesterday at 5 a.m. after a brief illness. Mr. Stringer had been a resident of this city for 20 years and was a member of the Madison Avenue Baptist Church. He is survived by his widow, father, M. B. Stringer, two sons, Frank B. and John Stringer, of Montgomery; three brothers, M. B., W. L., and J. G. STringer, all of this city, and four sisters, Mrs. E. C. Perdue, of Deatsville; Mrs. J. C. Mitchell, Mrs. J. M. Reeves and Mrs. J. M. Sullivan, all of Montgomery. The funeral will be held from Memory Chapel today at 4:30 p.m. Burial Oakwood. Smith-Wynn Post, V. F. W., will hold services at the grave, T. F. Leak and Son in charge.
