Wife of Thomas R. Carter Dec 2, 1827 Mar 27, 1860 Additional Comments: This burial ground is off US 31 South exit of I 65 in Hope Hull/ Pintlala area and looks like an island with the pond around it just off McLean Road, it can be seen well from a distance. Locating the cemetery was an awesome yet saddened experience realizing how much damage continues in this burial ground. One cow stood on a headstone glaring at me as if I were the intruder. Lacy's headstone is actually a tall monument with inscriptions around it. Several of her children died during an epidemic and are buried around her and many of my photos are posted at http://www.hometown.aol.com/grandpatrcarter/photoList.html Lacy, the daughter of Jesse Bozeman and his first wife, Lucy, was the first wife of Thomas Randolph Carter.
