It is located East of Ramer, Montgomery, Alabama traveling on County Road 94. It is NE of the intersection of County Road 94 & Mt. Lebanon Rd. on private property owned by Mr. Walter O. Sellers (Local Attorney & Realtor) of Ramer, AL. The tombstone reads from top to bottom: ALMIRA HERRINGTON. Born July 22, 1817, Died Nov. 4, 1895. Age 78yrs. 3ms. 12ds ___ Additional Comments: All inquiries to visit the site should be made to Mr. Walter O. Sellers of Ramer, Alabama. 100 Main St, Ramer, AL 36069-5700, (334) 562-3225 Almira was the wife of James M. Herrington. She was listed as Elizabeth in the 1870 census. Almira and James had at least the following children: Sarah F., born about 1841 in Alabama. Louisa J., born about 1842, aka Laura, m. 1st Nery A. Eilands Dec 22, 1859, killed in Civil War m. 2nd Erasmus B. Scogins/Scoggins Eunice Elizabeth, b. about 1847 Martha A., born about 1849, m. V. D. Whatley November 5, 1869 Louisa M. "Ellen", born about 1852 Zachariah N., born about 1855. There is some evidence that Charles Caffey may also be interred in this plot, but no burial markers were found on our visit.
