J. Bozeman Additional Comments Nancy Jane Anderson, daughter of Seaborne & Lavina Jane Sellers Anderson, was born December 11, 1843 and died July 22, 1910. She grew up in Lowndes County. Seaborn's father, Elijah, was mentioned in the will of Elisha Anderson that can be found in the Alabama Department of Archives and History. Elisha married Lavina Brack in the 1700s in North Carolina. Lavinia, daughter of Eleazor & Ester Doty Brack, was born in about 1763 in North Carolina. Ester Doty Brack was a descendant of Edward Doty, a passenger on the Mayflower. The Andersons migraged from South Carolina to Alabama in the early 1800s, some having served in the Revolutionary War. Nancy married Peter Edward Bozeman and received his Civil War pension. They livee in Ramer and raised a large family, including John Thomas, Peter James, Corintha, Robert H., Martha J., Allie Lucie, George M., & Meade G. Nancy is buried near her son Meade and his wife, Lelia Campbell Bozeman, just inside the entrance on the left. Some of Nancy and Peter's sons served in WWI.
