Turn left, go through Somerville to Upper River Road (County Highway 40). Turn right, go to Winton, turn left, go about 700 yards and turn right on gravel road. Go about 1 1/2 miles to end of road. Cemetery is on left of road on property of Pine Hill Day Camp. Mary E. Johnston 25 November 1827 26 October 1919 on same stone with: Arlisia C. Butcher 13 November 1825 30 April 1907 Martha C. Breeding 15 Arpil 1859 7 Oct 1954 The following two graves inside a rock wall: Simon P. Garrison 10 January 1820 13 May 1896 Louisah Garrison 9 July 1828 15 Sept 1874 Professed religion and joined M. E. Church at about 12 yrs. old. Married Dec. 18, 1844 (Stonemaker Muldoon B. & Co, Memphis, Tenn.) Footstone: L. G. Three graves marked with fieldstones without names or dates. BREEDING CEMETERY #2 Morgan County, Alabama T6S R2W S15 Copied 24 Feb 1982 by Dene Walls and Sue Marine Location: Follow directions to above cemetery and ask directions locally. Cemetery is about 1/2 mile from road in a field. Samuel Breeding 2 May 1833 22 May 1908 Footstone: S. B. on same stone with: Eliza F. Breeding 14 March 1848 no death date given Mary L. ____________ his wife Box-type tomb with initials M. L. B. Box-type tomb with initials J. M. B. Footstone with initials E. D. Approximately 20 graves marked with fieldstone. [NOTES: Many graves from this cemetery were moved to Center Springs Cemetery. Samuel Breeding was the son of Samuel Breeding Eliza F. was Eliza F. Lyle. She married Samuel Breeding 1 June 1870 (Morgan County Marriage Records C1, pg 260) Samuel and Eliza are on the 1850 and 1860 Morgan County, AL Census. M. L. B. was Mary Louise Breeding 28 September 1849 20 January 1918 J. M. B. was John Mason Breeding 24 May 1845 4 Mar 1904 Also buried in the cemetery is an ex-slave known as Cook. She was granted her dying wish and was buried at John and Mary's feet. >From 1910 Morgan County Death Records we found the following buried at the Breeding place: Sarah Jane Tidwell died 29 February 1910, age 62 years
