Collins (sic) of the state and county aforesaid of the second part witnesseth that the said John Carnes for and in consideration of the sum of forty dollars to him in hand paid for by the said Lewis D. Collins the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained and sold by there (sic) (illegable word(s)) doeth bargain and sell to the said Louis D. Collins (sic) and his heirs and assigns forever a certain lot or parcel of land known in the plan of the town of Somerville in the county of Morgan and state aforesaid as lot number one hundred and twelve and lying within the limits of the town containing one half acre of land & is now in the plan of Somerset by the name or number of one hundred and twelve together with all the singular the heredetimants and appurtinences thereunto belonging or in anywise appurtaining and the reversion & reversions remainder & Remainders (sic) rents fines and profits thereof & also all the estate right and title interest claim and demand whatsoever him the said John Carnes either in Law(?) or equity of in & two (sic) the above bargained premises & every part & parcel thereof to have & to hold to the sd Lewis D. Collins his heirs & assigns for the sole & only proper use benefit & behoof of the sd Louis D.
