Funeral for George W. Black, 75, father of Judge of Probate P.C. Black, who died Saturday in a Dothan hospital, was held from the home in Geneva... a native of Pike county, he lived 52 years in Geneva County, and served as Sheriff a number of years ago. He was the founder of the town of Black, Ala., where he had large farming and business interests. Burial was in the Geneva Cemetery with Masonic honors. He is survived by three sons; Judge P.C. Black and A.L. Black , of Geneva, and A.L. Black of Black, Ala., and nine grandchildren.
