The Cherokee Advance (Canton, GA)  19 June 1884 p 3
Dr. J. J. Coggins of Falksville Ala. died last Thursday.  We regret to learn of
his death as he was a good citizen, physician and loved by all who knew him. 
Mr. A. B. Coggins of this place, was with him in his last hours.  Mr. J. N.
Coggins of Belton, is improving slowly.
