Richard Moore 64 of Hartselle 3 died this morning at 6 o'clock at the residence of a
brother,Clemon Moore,Falkville 3.Service's
will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m.at Bethelem Baptist Church with Rev.John Mayfield
officating.Burial will be in Reeves Cemetery.Peck Funeral Home directing.Nephews
will be pallbearers.Mr.
Moore is survived by one daughter,Mrs. 
Annie Ruth Miles,Hartselle 3;four sisters,
Mrs.Ruth Blevins,Somerville,Mrs.Dora Hudgins,Falkville 3,Mrs.Palestine Hester,
Homa,La.,and Mts.Cora Gray,Double Springs 1,three brother's;Clemon Moore,Falkville
3,Ronder Moore,Double Springs 1,and Sherman Moore,Summertown,Tn.Mr.Moore was a
member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and a vetern of World War 1.The body will be
returned to the home of Mrs.Annie Ruth Miles,Hartselle 3,this afternoon at 3:30.

 

Additional Comments:
I remember when my Gr-Uncle Richard died.I had been to my grandparents home the
night before as we lived two houses from them.
Uncle Richard was there for a visit and sitting in a rocker by the fire.The next
morning I heard my Papaw whispering to daddy he thought Uncle Richard had died.He
had fell out of the rocker.He was born in Etowah Co.Al.to William Henry & Mary Lucy
Ann Oliver Moore.
