To any of the Judges of the State, any Justice of the Peace of said County, 
or any other person legally authorized.

These are to authorize you or either of you , to solemnize the rights of 
Matrimony between John Jeffers and Mahala Castleberry of said county, 
agreeably to the statute in such case made and provided.

Given at the office of the Clerk of the County Court this 28 day of 
September 1826
