I Benjamin Stovall of the County of Morgan & State of Alabama being of Sound & disposing mind and memory thanks be to Almighty God for the same, but being persuaded the certainty of mortality am know moved to make & ordain this my last will & testament revoking all other will Legacy or bequeathests-----In the first place it is my will and desire that my Funeral exspences & Just debts be first paid & satisfied. In the next place I give & bequest unto my beloved, wife Margaret Stovall all my Estate both real & personal to have & to hold during her natural life or widowhood for the purpose of her suport and for raising & schooling my children that are under age after what is hearin after mentioned & bequeathed----first I five & bequeathe unto my son in law Phillip Watkins eighty dollars in cash and other articles the amount of sixty eight dollars inwhich he hath already received & charged with -------- secondly I give & bequeathe unto my son in law Rich Gellentine? the sum of sixty seven dollars & seventy five cents in cash and other articles to the amount of sixty eight dollars which I have been charged with and he hath already received also twelve dollars & twenty five cents to be paid in cash here after----Thirdly I give & bequeathe unto William Hendon one hundred cents to be paid out of my estate----It is also further my will & desire that my wife Margaret Stovall shall give unto each of the rest of our children as the come of age the sum of eighty dollars in money and the further sum of sixty eight dollars in property---last ly after the death of my wife or the end of her widowhood it is my desire that the whole of my estate both real & personal after the aforementioned bequeatheas are satisfied, be sold and equally divided among my legal heirs William Hendon excepted-------------------------------- I do herey constitute & appoint my Brother Drury Stovall my friend Robert Johnson and my son Thomas Tilmon Stovall Executors to this my last will & testament in testimony wheretoof I have hear unto set my hand & seal this 22nd day of June 1833 Test: Peter Stovall Benjamin Stovall (SEAL) Edmund Stone John Glaze?
