You will deliver the said property to the undersigned, Agent at Marion on Wednesday the 1st instant, when a receipt for will be given to you. The owners of the Slaves may elect a white man for every Thirty Slaves, to oversee and take care of them, for which he will be paid by the State Two Dollars per day for each working day; the owners of Slaves worked as mechanics, will be allowed for each hand, with their tools, One Dollar and Fifty Cents for each working day and for the other salves, One Dollar per day with their implements.
