This was written on the tombstone of Ellen Brazier Hughey by her husband, 
George W. Hughey.

She was buried at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Sprott, Perry Co., Al

Dear Wife and Mother this is all we can do for thee. Now more in our hearts 
for thou was to us a comfort and a joy. This Marbel is cold and lifeless, yet 
its durability is a faint symbol of the undying love we cherished for thee.
