Subject: Franklin Benson Hornbuckle

Mother (Eliza Wyatt Hornbuckle Roberts) told us over and over again about her 
brother Frank who came as far as Selma with her and Papa (Richard Gaines 
Roberts Jr.) the day they married (January17, 1878) and left there for Texas 
ot the west.  He wrote to them for a while and then got careless about 
writing.  They never did know what became of him and it worried her as long as 
she lived.  She hoped some day to learn of his whereabouts.
