Oliver of Perry County } the County and State Aforesaid being of sound mind and memory, do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament, revoking all other Wills made by me (Viz). I give and bequeath to my son Murrell W. Oliver, one negro boy Moses, one horse and saddle to be worth one hundred dollars and two hundred dollars worth of household furniture and stock, to be delivered to him at his marriage or when he is twenty one years of age. I give and bequeath to my daughter Emily T. Oliver one negro girl Lucy, one horse and saddle to be worth one hundred dollars and two hundred dollars worth of stock and household furniture to be delivered to her at her marriage or when she is eighteen years of age. I give and bequeath to my daughter Sophrona D. Oliver one negro girl Ann, one horse and saddle to be worth one hundred dollars and two hundred dollars worth of stock and household furniture to be delivered to her upon her marriage or when she arrives to eighteen years of age. I give and bequeath to my daughter Atha B. Oliver one negro girl Sally, one hourse and saddle to be worth one hundred dollars and two hundred dollars worth of stock and household furniture, to be delivered to her at her marriage or when she arrives to the age of eighteen years. I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Virginia Oliver, one negro girl Harriet, one horse and saddle to worrth one hundred dollars and two hundred dollars worth of stock and household furniture to be delivered to her at her marriage or when she arrives to the age of eighteen years. I give and bequeath to my son Thomas H.J. Oliver, one negro boy named Furlong, one horse and saddle to be worth one hundred dollars and two hundred dollars worth of stock and household furniture to be delivered to him at his marrage or when he arrives to the age of twenty one years. I give and bequeath to my wife Lucinda Oliver all the remaining part of my estate after paying my just debts and giving my children good education and supporting my father his lifetime as long as he lives, but the property to be under the control of my Executors, at her death to be equally divided among the Legatees, by my Executors or some fit persons appointed by the Court without selling the estate, but if the situation of the estate is such that it cannot be divided without a sale, then and in that case, my Executors to sell and divide it equally between my children - if any of the negroes that is named in this will should die, the child to whom it is willed shall receive out of my estate the value of such negro at the time of marriage or when they are of age to be valued by my Executors or otherwise. I also empower my Executors to purchase a sufficient quantity of land for the use of the remaining part of my estate or negroes to cultivate and cause such building to be put on said land as they think advisable. Lastly I appoint my friends Edwin D. King and Edward Oliver my Executors, and Gabriel Benson in case of failure of either of them to this my last Will and Testament.
