William Richard Waddell was married to Hannah Kiser Lambith on January 17, 
1857.  From this union there were three children:
 
  James Alexander Waddell    DOB:  January 22, 1858
  Jackson Augustus Waddell   DOB:  October 5, 1859
  Hecdman Landrum (not sure of spelling) Waddell  DOB: August 4, 1860

Hannah Kiser Lambith Waddell died on June 4, 1861

William Richard Waddell then married my great, great grandmother (maternal),
Sarah Elizabeth Bankston (DATE OF BIRTH:  January 29, 1837) on February 16, 
1862.  There is no record of William Richard Waddell's date of birth.

From the union with Sarah Elizabeth Bankston there were eight children:

  Mary Francis Waddell    January 25, 1863
  Martha Susan Waddell    August 20, 1865  (My maternal great grandmother)
  Jiffard Josithern Waddell   February 8, 1867
  Elizabeth Manetta Waddell   September 2, 1868
  Harriet Emma Waddell        June 23, 1872
  William Edgar Waddell       January 3, 1873
  Thomas Jordan Waddell       January 3, 1875
  Cathrine Leah Waddell       September 5, 1877

William Richard Waddell died in Tipton County, TN on March 7, 1906.
Sarah Elizabeth Bankston Waddell died March 15, 1914.

This is the information that is written in Sarah Bankston's very old Bible that 
I have in my possession.  The Bible is crumbling and in very poor condition, 
however the information that is above was written in old style cursive. 
Additional information leads me to believe they were living in Pickens County, 
AL. 




Additional Comments:
Martha Susan Waddell eventually married William Warner Willard.  They lived in 
Jacksonport (Newport) Arkansas.  Both are buried in Maple Springs Cemetery in 
Arkansas.
