Williams Judge of said court personally apppeared in open court Wm H Somerville and O.L. McKinstry who having been by me first respectively and duly sworn and examined did and do depose and say upon oath that they are each subscribing witnesses to the instrument of writing now shown to them and which purports to be the last will and testament of Drury Miller deceased, late an inhabitant of this county that said Miller since deceased signed and executed said instrument on the day the same bears date as subscribing witnesses to the same in the presence of said testator. That said testator was of sound mind and disposing memory and in the opinion of deponenets fully capable of making his will at the time the same was so made as aforesaid affidavits further state that said testator was on the day of the said date of said will of the full age of twentyone years and upwards. Subscribed and sworn to before W.H. Summerville me this 17 day of Decr 1888 O.L. McKinstry TG Williams Judge of Probate Will of Drury Miller In the name of God Amen I Drury Miller of the County of Pickens and State of Alabama being of sound and disposing mind and memory and aware of the uncertainty of life and being desirous of disposing of the property with which a kind providence thus blessed me to take effect after my death do make and publish this as my last will and testament hereby revoking all others heretofore made by me. Item 1 I desire that after my death my Just Debts be paid without delay and have for years made it on in flexible rule to avoid debts large and small this item can be easily complied with. Item 2 After complying with the foregoing bequest I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Julia Long Miller the remainder of my estate of every kind and character whatsoever consisting of Lands, Houses, and Improvements of all Kind, the growing crops, stocks of Mules, Horses, Cattle, Hogs, and Wagons, Carriages, Tools and farm implements together with Moneys, Stocks, Bonds, Notes , and accounts and evidences of debts of every description whatsoever said to have and to hold the same absolutely and in fee simple to my said wife Julia Miller my last will and testament. In testimony whereof I have to this my last will and testament comtain and have hereof subscribed my name and afixt my seal this 29 day of Janry 1887. Witness: S. A. Propst his J. W.
