Leverett Bible Records
In 1972 this Old Bible was in the Possession of a grandson of Hiram J. 
Leverett. He is Mr. Willie W. Leverett, Brundidge, AL.

(1.) Hiram J. Leverett and Martha Jane AVERY were married on 18 Feb., 1849.
Hiram J. Leverett died 25 Nov., 1863
Martha Jane Avery, wife of Hiram J. Leverett, died 23 Aug.,1892
Note: Both Hiram J. & Martha Jane Avery Leverett are both buried in the 
Brundidge City Cemetery, Pike Co., AL.
 
Note: Probate records in Upson County, Ga. show that in 1826 a Thomas Leverett 
had recently deceased and one Gideon Leverett was appointed Guardian of Hiram & 
Lucinda,
Minor children of Thomas Leverett.

(2.) Martha Jane AVERY, wife of Hiram J. Leverett, was born in Monroe County, 
AL. on 15, Nov., 1821.

(6.) Arthur Judson Leverett b. 10 November 1860 in Pike County, Alabama
