Dr. By am't of Sale of Personally as made by him on the 1st day of May 1855, being all that belonged to said estate. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .$ 664.21 Interest from the 1st day of December till 1st day of January 1856 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .$ 4.42 By am't of Sale of Land as made by him on or about 26th day of September 1855 on 12 months time. . . . . . . . .$1,440.00 There are no claims in action belonging to the Estate. There being but four heirs, & all of full age and there being a sufficiency of the proceeds of the sale of the personal property of the estate to satisfy all claims against it, by consent of all the heirs on order of the Probate Court was obtained for the sale of said land privately. It brought the above amount of $1440. which was divided into four equal shares, and each of the other heirs has rec'd his portion of the said last mentioned proceeds, for which said administrator has their receipts & presents the same to the court. page 288 The State of Alabama } Before me, Bird Firzpatrick, Judge of Probate Pike County } foresaid county, personally came James M. Nobles, administrator of the estate of John Nobles, dec'd who being duly sworn deposeth & saith that the foregoing is a correct account between him and said estate to the best of his knowledge & belief, that there are but four persons who are entitled to a distributive share of said estate, all of full age, to wit Feraba Nobles, widow of the deceased, George W. Nobles, James M. Nobles, all residing near Magnolia, Post office Macon Co. Alabama, but with said county of Pike, and Eliza. Stevens **Submitter's Notes: John Nobles, the son of Hezekiah Nobles and Elcy Nicholson Nobles, was born 28 December 1790 in Edgefield County, SC. He married Pharaby(Feriby/Feraba) Haguewood(Haygood/Hegwood) in SC about 1810/11. His approximate date of death was March 12/13, 1855 near Magnolia, Pike County, AL. John moved from Edgefield County, SC to Talbot County, GA by 1834, and was in Pike County, AL by 1850.
