Anderson & Carset Anderson his wife from and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to us in hand paid by William A. B. Lamm the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge do hereby bargain sell & convey & by these presents do bargain sell and convey to the said William A. B. Lamm the following described lot of parcel of Land to wit one half of the Lot Known as part of the East end of Lot No. one & in Block No. four the front post of said Lot is South on the public Square from the South East corner of Darby's Hotel to the south West corner of J. P. Alreds Lot now ocupide by Wiley Cummingham & Jones as a Law office thence down the line south sixteen feet thence south to the wall of the said Hotel and thence along the wall of the House to the said NC corner except the ground the chimney stands upon said ___ lying and being in the town of Troy, Alabama to have and to hold the afore granted premises to the said Wm. A. B. Lemm his heirs and assigns to their use and behoof forever and we do covenant with the said Wm. A. B. Lamm, his heirs and assigns that we are lawfully seized in fee of the affore granted premises that they are free from al incumbrances that we have a good right to sell and convey the same to the said William A. B. Lamm, his heirs & Assigns & that we will warrant and defend the premises to the said Wm. A. B. Lamm his heirs and assigns forever against the claims and demands of all person in witness whereof we the said Joseph W.
