ALGenWeb Archive File Manager - Carolyn Golowka October 2000 REUBEN ANDERSON & MARGARET, HIS WIFE DOWER RELEASE TO DANIEL MILLER State of Alabama Book A p. 492 Know all men by these present I, Reuben Anderson of the County of Montgomery & State of Alabama for and in consideration of the sixteen hundred Dollars to me in hand paid by Daniel Miller of Pike County and State of Alabama the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge do hereby give grant bargain sell enfeoff and confirm unto the said Daniel Miller the following described land to white the North East quarter and South East quarter of Section Three? Township nine (9) and Range Twenty two (22) in the District of Land subject to sale at Sparta P.C. To have and to hold the aforegranted premises to the said Daniel Miller his heirs and assigns to their use and Benefit forever and I do covenant __ ___ ___ said Daniel Miller his heirs and assigns that __ lawfully seized in fee of the above granted parcels that they are free of all incumbrances that __ a good right to sell and convey the same to the said Daniel Miller his heirs and assigns and that I will warrant and defend the said premises __ said Daniel Miller his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims and demands of all person in witness whereof I the said Reubin Anderson have herein to set my hand and seal. Robert Parker JP & PP Know all men by these presents that I, Margaret Anderson wife of Reubin Anderson the grantor within named for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar to me in hand paid the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge do hereby remise release relinquish and forever quit claim to Daniel Miller the grantee within named his heirs and assigns all right title interest and claim to Dower which I now have as wife of the said Reubin Anderson or may here after have as his widow in and to the lands and premises within described.
