G. Boyd in the sum of One Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($150.00) to-wit three promissory notes of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) each as also the sum of one dollar ($1.00) to me in hand paid by said Boyd, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted, bargained, sell and confirmed unto T. G. Boyd his heirs and assigns the following described lands to-wit North half of north east quarter of section twenty-three, township ten, range twenty-two, also north east quarter of north east quarter of section twenty-two, township ten, range twenty-two containing one hundred and nineteen 95/100 (119 95/100) acres. Also all the cotton and corn crop that may be the product of said land for the year 1849 and all the crop that the said Reeves may have in possession or on hand to have and to hold the aforegranted land together with all the crops to him the said T. G. Boyd, his heirs and assigns forever, the conditions of the above conveyance being such that if the said David Reeves shall pay or cause to be paid the aforementioned notes when they may fall due, then this obligation is null and void to all intents and purposes, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
