J. Thurman, 16 year-old negro youth, residing on the Oscar Bryan farm near Spring Hill, was found dead near his home Monday afternoon with a shot-gun wound in his neck. Coroner A. J. Jones, of this city, went to the scene for an investigation and rendered a verdict of accidental shooting. Coroner Jones stated that the negro left his home Friday afternoon to go hunting and that it was his opinion that the gun was accidentally discharged during the hunt.
