Parnell via the mail on August 20, 1996. Mrs. S. A. Spradley Called By Death Mrs. Katherine Spradley, wife of S. A. Spradley died at her home near Youngblood, Ala., this morning after a short illness. She was born June 5, 1852 and has lived a long and useful life. She was faithful member of the Antioch church. She is survived, S. A. Spradley, and five children; Mrs. J. J. Rushing, Kirby Spradley, Mrs. Gus Porath, of Troy, Mrs. J. D. Youngblood, of Youngblood and Mrs. John W. Coll, of Baton Rouge, La., and many other relatives who mourn her death. The funeral will be held at Antioch church Sunday morning at nine o’clock and will be conducted by Rev. W. T. Grider, of Troy. Note: Avarilla Cathrine Castellaw(b. 5 Jun 1852 in ? & d. 7 May 1927 in Troy, Pike Co., AL) married Stephen Anderson Spradley(b. 10 Oct 1849 in Crenshaw Co., AL & d. 27 Dec 1928 in Troy, Pike Co., AL) on 26 Jan 1873 in Old Providence Church, Crenshaw Co., AL. They are both buried in Antioch Church of Christ, located in Shellhorn, Pike Co., AL
