From An Inherited Obituary Collection
BARR, CHARLIE (10-29-1905 – 3-31-2002)

	Charlie Barr, 96, of Troy, Ala., Pike County, died Sun., March 31, 2002, at
Pike Manor Health Care Center in Troy.  Funeral services will be at 2 p.m.
Tues., April 2, at Springfield Baptist Church in Brundidge, Ala., with Rev.
Bobby Peters officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery, with Skeen
Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.  Visitation was from 6 until 8 p.m. Mon.,
April 1, at Skeen.
	Mr. Barr, born Oct. 29, 1905, in Pike County, was a farmer and attended the
Baptist Church.  His parents were Will and Maudie Jackson Barr.
	Survivors are a son, Charlie Ray Barr; daughters Mary, Annette, Sara, and
Alanor Barr; daughters and sons-in-law Nan and Everett Singleton and Linda and
Ray Berry.  All the children are of Ariton, Alabama.  Also surviving Mr. Barr
are nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, David Barr, and
one sister, Madie Turner, both of Phenix City, Alabama.
