Funeral services will be on Sun., Aug. 10, at 4 p.m. at the Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy, with Rev. Fred Fuller officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Cemetery, with Dillard Funeral Home directing. Visitation will immediately precede the funeral, from 3 until 4 p.m. Mrs. Cummings’ survivors include her daughter Susan Senkarik of Pensacola, Fla.; son and daughter-in-law, Al and Judy Head of Montgomery; five grandchildren and their spouses, Allison Head Pace and Wilson, Dunrey Larose and Glenn, Albert B.”Trace” Head II and Kate, J. Marshall Senkarik, J. Pierce Senkarik and Allison; and great-grandson Wilson Branscomb Pace. Mrs. Cummings was preceded in death by her husband Albert Branscomb Head; her husband Horace Cummings; and a brother, Arthur Pelzer Folmar, Jr. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Troy, had been a teacher at Charles Henderson High School in Troy, and had worked with the Alabama Department of Education. Pallbearers will be Albert “Trace” Head, Marshall Senkarik, Manley Johnson, Tommy Arrington, Wilson Pace, and Thomas “Tripp” Head. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Troy Arts Council, Johnson Center for the Arts, or the First United Methodist Church of Montgomery.
