Obituary Collection of Kathlyn J Folmar
FOLMAR, MAYME LOU DAVIS  (4-12-1894 - 4-25-1977)
	Mrs. Mayme Lou Folmar, 83, of Rt. 2, Goshen, Ala., Pike Co., died Monday
afternoon.  Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Elam Primitive Baptist
Church north of Goshen, with Elder J. P. Morgan and Rev. M. C. Briggs
officiating.  Burial will follow in Elam Cemetery with McGehee-Dillard directing
and Mrs. Folmar’s grandsons as pallbearers.  The body will lie in state at the
church for one hour prior to services.
	Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Rex Carlisle [Carlene], Rt. 1, Troy,
Ala., and Mrs. Max C. Briggs [Louise], Muscle Shoals; five sons, Travis K.
Folmar of Rt. 2 Goshen, Sam D. Folmar of Ozark, Ala., James Phillip Folmar of
Rt. 2 Goshen, Walter D. Folmar of Glenwood, Ala., Hugh R. Folmar of Rt. 2
Goshen; two sisters, Mrs. O. D. King and Mrs. J. C. Kelly, both of Rt. 1 Troy;
one brother, Lucious T. Davis, Columbus, Ga.; 11 grandchildren; and 12
great-grandchildren.
	Mrs. Folmar was predeceased by her husband, James “Jim” Ross Folmar.
