Obituary Collection of Kathlyn J Folmar
FOLMAR, WALTER RALPH (9-30-1909 – 3-21-1976)
	W. Ralph Folmar, 66, of Rt. 1 Troy, Ala., Pike Co., died Sunday at St.
Margaret’s hospital, Montgomery, Ala.  Services were held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at
Elam Primitive Baptist Church, with Elder J. P. Morgan officiating.  Burial
followed in the church cemetery with McGehee-Dillard of Troy directing and Mr.
Folmar’s nephews serving as pallbearers.
	Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Ethel Mae Folmar, Rt. 1 Troy; five sisters,
Mrs. Mildred F. Carter of Rt. 1, Mrs. May V. Bowden of Kinston, Ala., Miss Wilma
Folmar and Miss Sarah Folmar both of Rt. 1 Troy, and Mrs. Margaret Garraway of
Hattiesburg, Miss; a brother, Riley M. Folmar of Rt. 1 Troy; and several nieces
and nephews.
	

Additional Comments:
Mr. Folmar was the son of Walter Randolph and Margaret Ida “Maggie” Davison
Folmar.
