Obituary Collection of Kathlyn J Folmar
GRIMMER, MARY JANE TEAT (12-28-1859 – 4-11-1946

	Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Jane Teat Grimmer, 86, who died Thursday night
at her home, were held Saturday morning from the Hopewell Primitive Baptist
Church near Henderson, Ala., Pike County.  Elder J. J. Richards officiated,
assisted by Elder F. A. Collins of Hartford.  Burial was in the church cemetery
[Hopewell Community Cemetery], with McGehee Funeral Home of Troy, Ala., in charge.
	Pallbearers were Mrs. Grimmer’s grandsons, Jim Tom Grimmer, Shelton Albritten,
Llewellyn Berry, Merwyn Berry, Nelson Jones, and Billy Dyess.
	


Additional Comments:
Mrs. Grimmer was born in Pike County and lived in that county in the Darby’s
Beat area near the Pike-Coffee County line.  Her husband, James Asbury Grimmer,
had died in 1902.
