C11 Mary Dean Galloway, 72, of 1604 18th Avenue, Phenix City, AL, died Tuesday, November 9, 1999 at Phenix Regional Hospital. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. today at Lakeview Memory Gardens, with Rev. Allan Griffith and Rev. Burt Hall officiating, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Phenix City, AL. Mrs. Galloway was born July 17, 1927 in Pike Co., AL, the daughter of the late Mary Jane Stewart Nicholson and George Nicholson. She was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church and retired from Sunshine Biscuit Company. Survivors include three daughters, Janie Corbitt, Julie Goldstein and Joyce Dooly, all of Phenix City; a son, Morris D. Galloway,Jr., of Columbus, GA; a brother Harold Nicholson of Brundidge, AL; 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. ============================================================ This one is the sister to Jinnie Maude Harden that married William Elmo Galloway. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 9, 1999, at second Baptist Church, with Rev. Mike Reeves officiating, interment to follow in Parkhill Cemetery, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Macon Road. The family will receive friends this evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Gibson was born March 7, 1901, in Pike Co., AL , daughter of the late Thomas Monroe and Nancy Wilson Harden. She has lived in Columbus since 1927 and was a member of second Baptist Church. Mrs. Gibson was preceded in death by her husband, Tilden W. Gibson. She is survived by her four sons and daughters-in-law, Foster f. and Laura s. Gibson of Ft. Myers, FL, Roy T. and Louise s. Gibson of Hapeville, GA, Rev. Francis W. and Johnnie Gibson of Shiloh, GA, Ralph S. and Mary Alice Gibson of Columbus, GA; one sister, Jessie Lou McKee of Pinson, AL; 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren.
