Funeral To Be Held For Adolphus Owens

Adolphus H. Owens, 70, a resident of 918 Brundidge Boulevard passed away in a 
local infirmary early this morning.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock pm Wednesday at McGehee Funeral 
Home Chapel with Dr. C. T. Ammerman officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood 
Cemetery.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Adolphus R. Owens, one daughter, Mrs. Gordon 
Graves of Montgomery. Two brothers, Peavy Owens, Birmingham and Aubrey Owens 
also of Birmingham, two sisters, Mrs. L. D. Sharp and Mrs. Menda Spies both of 
Birmingham, two grandchildren.
**Note**
Obit has his middle initial list as H and R…. Minnie’s obit has R.
